Australia 2000

After a failed attempt to do an international co-op and deciding against a round-trip ticket as a bonus, I finally managed to fulfill a dream and make it to Australia. I traveled with Elissa, a friend from Northeastern, who happens to also be a travel agent (which really helped in cutting the airfare). Many other people wanted to go, but we were the only two that could get three solid weeks of vacation off. The trip was from Oct 28th to Nov 18th. We managed to cover a lot of ground in that time, but we still left plenty too see for a return trip. Below is a picture journal of some of the trip highlights. I had originally thought I'd also include my journal along with these pictures, since I didn't always have a great picture of what we were doing. However, that was just turning out to be a little too much work, so for now, what you see is what you get :)
